if the rumors are correct..
..and the LT4 is indeed making 635tq and only 625hp, GM really choked this thing off up top. Or they stopped measuring at 5000 RPM's. I have yet to see a properly sized PD blower put out less hp than tq. It's either too small or GM capped this thing up to meet and not exceed a target HP. @ 635Tq, this motor will easily put down 675-700.

Regardless of what the final #'s are, the fact that this make appreciably more TQ than HP, means that the TQ drops off sharply around or before 4800RPM. This is unheard of with PD blowers. PD blowers produce very linear TQ curves that often continually climbs until the fuel shuts off. GM capped this motor's HP # big time! There is A LOT more to be had in the LT4.
