We know it won't be less, that's all that matters. It's going to be phenomenal regardless.

If they don't forge the bottom(which I don't see not happening) I'll lose all interest in this car, detonation is problem number one with FI, having a great intercooler and ***** on tuning is everything on a FI car, but having a forged bottom end gives a tad of space for error, I would be shocked If GM put cast stuff in this car, the last Z was a ticking time bomb(for other reasons) I don't see GM going that route again.... It will have a forged bottom end, people will be paying a 30k premium for something and it can't just be brakes, some body panels , tires and a SC that GM probably pay 2k for.
If you want a sought motor it's just rule of thumb with FI you forge the bottom with low compression.

I feel that they are close to the correct numbers. You figure they are combining the ZR1 and the Z06 to create the ultimate performance car, aka monster. Lol. They need to make this car really stand out and have the price reasonable enough to avoid people from just getting the Z51 and adding a Calloway package. That would cost around $90 To $95 grand so I also say the base price Z06 will be around $85 grand. Just all my opinions

As impressive as 620 hp and 650 lb ft of torque is .....there is strong suggestions the pore levels will be higher.

Take it for what it's worth since we should know within 5 hp on the 13th next week.

The numbers are correct. I think they may move slightly when SAE J1349 certified.
