I am toying with the idea of selling my 2009 H/C Z06 with 555whp/493wtq for a C7Z or keeping the current Z and getting a nice daily driver (Audi S4.) If you go with keep the Z and get a nice daily, give me your thoughts on the S4 and any other recommendations. The Z is paid off. Thanks.
Ford is a truck company, not a sports car company. No one is going to cross shop a C7 Z06 and a Mustang.
I did. And I have owned 3 vettes prior, I'm 36 years old and enjoy the raw power and feel of the Shelby much more. Again, loved my Z, love the Shelby more.
yes, get the ultra rare, in its eighth year production 'Shelby'......and make sure you get the dash plaque signed by someone that's has passed away but somehow they still get signed....hahaha

Your laughing at your own post??? That shows the credibility of you, go away.
As far as the S4 is concerned it depends on who you listen to. MT was not a big fan but others are what is it that you want out of it. I like Audi, I'm a big fan but since I have a Vette the "S" series is not what I'd want for my DD. My DD is a MB and I love it. I would not but the "S" as my DD but would never turn my back on an R8. That said the Vette is the super car for me.
As far as the Z06 is concerned it really depends on whether you are ready to shell out $80K+ and if you like the looks of the new Z. I will be getting rid of my GS for the Z. For me it's not about the HP it's about the look.

Are you kidding? You're asking for someone's opinion to make that decision?

Really? Are you blind? What do you call these? Those are both in my garage.
Cobra's, Mustangs..they're not sports cars I guess. And that 662 HP Shelby GT 500 that can go to 1000 RWHP for about 6k, isn't a sports car either I guess? My GT's are not sports cars?
I'd buy the Shelby GT 500 in a heartbeat and park it next to my Z.

Were you born this way - or did it happen when you bought your Corvette?
Funny, you can't buy a used 2013 Shelby GT500 for much less than new, but I can buy Z's for peanuts - any year.
I have - in fact pretty much daily, because I'm looking for one for one of my kids. You obviously are quite out of touch with reality and just want argue pointlessly. I think I've forgotten more about cars and the market then you'll ever know in a lifetime.
So tell us - which market are you looking at exactly? Do they sell cars in that market by chance?

I wouldn't call Ford a sports car company because they made 4000 GT's nine years ago.
The Shelby GT is a solid rear axle musclecar, something that is different than a sportscar. I can't stand muscle cars. It's also a 60k+ car designed off a 22k car chassis and Interior. No thanks. Even with its huge HP it wouldn't be able to touch a C7 Z06 on a track and you also happen to look like every 20 year old Mustang owner on the road. I don't like the Camaro either, and the charger is a joke.
