allow the car to run in a higher gear, hence lower revs
, That is silly. Racing is always at high revs with the engine pulling hard always unless short periods of braking. It is not shifting in to 'overdrive" on the straights. lol

The ACR doesn't make high RPM's to begin with, relatively speaking!

Furthermore, higher torque cars have to be driven differently.
