So will your diffuser have the wider vents like the factory Z, or the narrow vents like the Stingray?
If you look closely the vent meets up with the body to the outside. The vent is not actually in the diffuser. Looks to me like he could be right, the diffusers are the same width but the difference in width is made up in the vent on the Z.

Yeah, I was eyeballing that myself. Looks like diffuser wraps around the bottom of the exchanger vents, though. His diffuser looks like a real nice piece, but I wouldn't want to lose the wider exchanger vents the Z has.

Hard to tell, I think you will retain all of the Z06 original parts.
Excellent points, and I had the same concerns. Ben told me that he spoke to an engineer at GM, and was told the part numbers are the same for the Z06 and Stingray. I guess the vents are a separate piece that "snaps in". So, I assume that means the width must be in the vents and fenders. Ben said "I'm 99% sure this will fit perfectly. If it doesn't, send it back and I'll refund your money." Thus, I figure that it really isn't a huge risk.
But, I'm keen to know if others can verify with 100% certainty, whether the part numbers are indeed a match.
My wife told me that the only way I could buy it is if it's bedazzled. Ben said his supplier will do it, but only if it's a quantity of 12. Is anyone interested in a group buy?
He is correct. I looked at the Z06 and confirmed it is the same diffuser as the Stingray. The vents are wider, but the diffuser itself is the same. There is an extension piece at the bottom in between the rear fascia and the diffuser to make up the difference.

This is the LB Z06 and it appears to have that extension.
So, who is interested in taking Ben up on his offer of $1499.00 for his WeaponX carbon fiber rear diffuser? At last count, we have six and need four more to reach his requiement of ten to get the special pricing.
Comfirmed that the lower rear fascia part is identical for the StingRay and the Z06, i.e., it has the same part number, as per 1-to-1 conversation I had with Phil Minch. Phil is Tadge's Assistant, GM Engineer, with the current title of Corvette Structures Group Manager.

Q1. I assume the diffuser is wrapped with a carbon fiber vinyl material? The color appears lighter than the surrounding carbon flash vents, OR...
Q2. Is it a laminated CF over the molded plastic piece?
Q2. What is the color designation of the vinyl wrap/laminate piece; ie 2D, 3D, 4D, and Carbon Black, Dark Gray, Gray, Meteorite, Gunmetal, etc. Gloss?
Also wondering how it will compare to the carbon fiber splitters, CFV, and CF roof on the Z06. Time will tell on that one most likely.
I am interested in the group buy, but need more info on carbon fiber first.
