Default LT4 mods???

1. with the factory SC already spinning over 20k rpm how much more boost could realistically be had without creating too much heat

2. Will aftermarket SC be offered, with the factory unit being so compact and low could an aftermarket fit without having to put a different hood on.

3. Direct injection has been the limiting factor for max horsepower on many other platforms, I wonder how many HP this fuel system can supply

I am coming from a gen IV viper which was terribly limited on mods I really want something to build on. I know this would all be speculation at this point but would like to hear others thoughts

Get a basic Stingray as a foundation for mods.

I think you will be happier with the journey and the results.

Imagine the joy of smoking a Z06.

Why is it a joy to void your warranty for beating a superior machine in a narrowly defined battle?

Be a man, do the right thing, get the zo6.

Im the same way as the OP. I have the stupid feeling of must have more power!! However I would have to assume the lt4 is going to be somewhat similar as the zr1 where as its pretty much at what it can do with simple bolts on's. The pulley and tune didn't do all that much on the zr1 and I would bet that would be the same case here. However Im that way and I plan to do a pulley and tune and gain whatever it will offer maybe the same 50-60 HP gains.. I refuse to go inside. The pulley is just too easy to get power... As for anything else.. the exhaust already sounds great. Maybe an x pipe just to make it a bit louder and lower it on stock bolts.. That's really it and that's the point of this car. You really need to do nothing, I just like to stand out from the rest a bit

Methanol and more boost if it can handle it or spray some nitrous. There's a massive difference from a base car to a Z06. Body, aero, handing, ect. Sure a fast base model is nice (I have a 700+ hp C6) but I'm still getting a C7 Z if at all possible just for the better grip and ride.

Base model would not even be a consideration, by the time you spend the money to make it run, and look like a Z06 you have about the same money invested and the car is still only worth as much as any other base C7 and a very small market of buyers when the next great thing comes along.

I am tired of my old mid 10 second car I want to run some high 9's and drive it to and from the track
