Not the offset I am concerned about. I think the C7 Z06 rotor is 0.2" larger in diamater than the ZR1 and that might be enough to not make it fit inside an 18". As it is now only CCW, Finspeed, and Forgeline make an 18" that will fit over the ZR1 brakes.
15.5" for both ZR1 and C7Z06 front rotor
The rear rotor is indeed larger, but still less than 15.5"
ive read that the cup 2 was great on the track but on the street the SS was better due to the cups 2 loosing traction unless its on a 100% clean surface like a track. The street, that isn't the case
Any thoughts?
I have to believe with the z06 out others are going to have to come in this size. Where as before it was only the zr1 and didn't make sense from a production stand point for the little amount of zr1's out there
The Z06 tires are a very small market and there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in entering the market. For the Summer only high performance tires other than Michelin it's Toyo and P Zero Corsa (Pirelli) tires? For these summer only tires, everyone seems to love the Michelin tires (PSS or Cups) so there really isn't any demand at all for summer only alternatives.
No one seems interested in making an A/S tire in this performance range. I assume there is a technical reason for this lack of interest in making an A/S tire that I just don't have the technical knowledge to appreciate.
