You will pay shipping but it will be $1500 or so covered carrier perhaps more if you are a long way from NJ. But not $15k.

You will have to pay the shipping cost (unless you are close enough to pick it up). Cross country in an enclosed carrier runs about $1,500. If the car is not going all the way cross country, it is less. Maximum time is about a week to 10 days.

Between a few of the large volume dealers that post on the forum, there are about 100 z06s that they have already ordered (i.e., built or scheduled for build in December) in all colors and option levels for sale at MSRP. $1,500 for shipping is better than $15,000 mark-up.

Kerbeck is in NJ and is the largest in the Country. Looks like the they have 61, including convertibles. http://www.kerbeck1.com/Available_Z06.html The page shows the color scheme and whether it is a convertible or coupe along with all of the “ordered options” by code. FYI most of the things listed as option codes are either standard, or optional in the sense of being selectable such as paint color etc. They are not add-ons, price-wise. The “Z07” option code is the track package with the harsher suspension, carbon brakes, etc.

Macmulkin in NH is the second largest dealer in the country and has 25 coupes and 7 convertibles listed. http://www.macmulkin.net/VehicleSear...ear=2147483647

Coughlin in Ohio is probably somewhere in the top 5 dealers and it looks like he has about a dozen coupes and 3 convertibles not spoken for.

There are plenty of cars available so there's really no need to pay more than MSRP.

Ok, found the one! SFMDP2 is quite the departure from the black vehicle listed in the OP as it is Yellow with the Z07 package. Hopefully it's still available. I called Kerbeck, no answer.... will keep trying.

Thanks again.

This is very helpful. Thank you. Yes I will need to ship to Southern California... so cross country it is!

Thanks again.
I saw Dave from Kerbeck posted an updated list and the car you picked out is not on it. Hopefully, that means you snagged it. It should be a really sharp car.

It looked like Dave might be able to tweak the order. For what it's worth, if it were me, I'd see if they could change the calipers to yellow (black is not an option in the z07). The car has the gloss black wheels. Although Kerbeck selected the yellow calibers for most of their yellow cars, for some reason your's has the standard red calipers.
