new to the forum and just saying hi! I feel very lucky to be one of the very few people in canada to be getting a new 2015 Z06 vette! should be expecting my car in late jan! this is my first vette and i cannot wait to the car shows up! my order is velocity yellow,3LZ,jet black int,black wheels,red calipers,stinger stripe,stage 1 aero! also just wanted to say this forum is great,been looking everyday now for the last couple of months!

You'll have to come down to Vegas and take the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain ZO6 school. No doubt everybody should be schooled for this car. It's going to be EPIC !!!!

Congrats on your purchase.

Since it's your first Corvette may I recommend rolling on the throttle gently when in low gears at first until you get used to the car's response. Refer to You Tube videos of over exuberant ZR1 drivers rolling on too aggressively (with stability control turned off of course).

The car WILL be a handful and cool temperatures won't help either. My 2011 Z was loosey under power below 50F. And the new car will have as much torque at 1000 rpm as my 2011 car had at peak!

Thanks for the warning! even though this my first vette i do still my stage 3 roush mustang which is north of 600hp even though the Z06 is a different animal!

Ah, great news. That is a fantastic car as well. Spent some seat time at Gingerman in a Stage 3 car a few years ago.
