Default Order tracking

Is it just me? I can't get this program to work. Z06 order entered last week.

Have no idea what you mean, perhaps you are referring to the gmconnect.com website that is not operable?

There is no operable order tracking website. There are three ways to track your order: the "chat" button on the chevrolet.com website, the customer service order tracking thread on the C7 version of this forum, and your dealer. My dealer let me know with a phone call or email every time my car changed status -- not a lot to ask considering the profit you are supplying to them.

Your dealer can pull up your status with a few keystrokes. He can then either print out the full OrderWORKBENCH document, or save it as PDF file and email it to you. A good dealer will have no problem with this. After all, you are spending close to 100k on a Chevy, they can at least keep you informed. My last two vettes, the dealer sent me a weekly email as well as a copy of the OrderWORKBENCH anytime the status changed.

If your dealer is unwilling to do this (and that should tell you something,) you can go to this thread

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ng-thread.html

Give them your order number and the state of the dealer. In a day or two, they will get back with your status. Please follow the guidelines in the first post of that page and don't request more than 1 update per week and give them a couple days to respond.

Just my $0.02 worth, but the GM tracking site was pretty basic and about worthless. They do have pretty pictures, though.

Default Live Chat

Just did a Live Chat on chevy.com. My car has only been ordered for a month out of NH and had been at 3000 for a while. They gave it a TPW of 12/22/14. Earlier than expected. I wanted to order the photo album. Called Shane because I have a Museum Delivery. NEWS FLASH -- My Z06 will be built this week on 18 and 19. Too late for the photo album. Word to wise--If you are going to get the build album, order it as soon as GM accepts your order.

Thanks for the info. I tried Chat but my order is too new to have a TPW. It's amazing that the GM Tracking is advertised but is off line. Either they should fix it or get rid of it.
