MSRP Maybe...Wait till end of year or next year for lower price. If price went up to much, I'd keep my 2013 GS or look at a Porsche GTS....But for 95K (for what I'm looking for) it is a starting price

With proper front fenders and spoilers? Or pay more with the same screwed together stuff. Just asking...
And by the way, I have a C6 Centennial L4T Vert and a 993 Turbo so don't tell me that anyone should pay $100K+ for a car with soooooo many screwed on body pieces.

Not bad. Did you just randomly call dealers trying to work the best deals? Was it a factory order or did you buy an in-stock car? Funny, the supporting dealers on this site all told me to pound sand for below MSRP. The same guys that will probably have 20 cars on the lot here in a month.

The question really is why would you buy a 2015 at this point unless you found one with deep discounts. Before you know it they will be taking orders for the newer and improved 2016 model and selling them well below MSRP.
Don't buy-in to all the talk about a huge price increase for 2016's either. Will the price go up on the 2016's? Yes, maybe but no where near 6K as some are trying to make us believe.
The logic that you will be paying more for the 2016's than you will pay now for a 2015 is just crazy. GM has just entered the rarified air of the 6 figure car market that limits their usual buyers pool considerably.
Some will take out a 2nd mortgage or go on a ramen noodles diet to buy a car they can't afford, but most smart buyers will not. Consequently, GM needs to walk a fine line or resign themselves to lower numbers than they had hoped.
All that said, the car is truly well worth every penny but that does not mean a large segment of the Corvette community can afford one and a lot of those who can just bought a 2015.

I ordered one today from a small dealer in our area for a little over $4,000 under MSRP, who will probably only get this one Z06. This is only the 2nd Z06 that he has ever been allocated according to my salesman. I am not sure what that says about availability, but paying over MSRP doesn't seem like something that I, or many Chevy buyers would do.
Think of it this way, the salesman told me this is the most that the dealership has ever sold a vehicle for! I am not sure if that is an honor I am happy holding.

MSRP is MAX for me. I always try to get the best price on everything I purchase. Once the A8 Z hits it will be interesting to see what happens to the market. When spring hits demand will increase & Z supplies will tighten up. This is a mass produced car but still limited considering its a Chevy. GM is banging these things out if demand decreases they can always dial it back. Many buyers looking at a loaded C7-Z51 will consider a lower optioned Z since the pricing is not far off. This time next year you will see better discounts but if you want the best bargain get a pre-owned low mileage Z once available.
