Status 3000 and the TPW keeps moving. It was originally March 2 then it was March 16 and today I have been told it's March 23rd. Horrible way to treat a customer that is spending over $100K on their most expensive car....

Did this info come from Chat or your dealer. Lots of misinformation lately and am certainly not pointing fingers, but trust your dealer first!

Need to remember TPW is just a "guesstimate" and not FIRM commit to build on that week. But as mentioned, your dealer should be on top of this for you.
Mine was same, and then went 3800 and 4B00 same day! Picked up my Laguna Blue 2LZ non-Z07 on Christmas eve, when it was supposed to be "available" around January 20th!
hopefully the first tpw was correct because this is a little crazy. I have a longer wait now than when I ordered it. lol
I wonder is this is related to the backlog of A8s in the parking lot waiting to ship. They may have to delay production until some room is available in the factory lot. Just my guess.
Dealer told me mid Feb build. Chat said 3/2. Latest from customer service is 3/23, dealer confirmed that along with no price increase since the order is placed. A8 stage 1 aero.
Edit- as of 2/6 new TPW is 3/16

Reason: New info
I doubt the dealer will know any more than we do right now. Hopefully it will bounce back to the original date. It seems like it's happening to a lot of people and I hadn't noticed it before. Time will tell.
I know of a few that moved, including mine. The TPW for my A8 was 1/26 since December and stayed this way for two weeks. It then moved to 2/9. I'm currently at 3400 status, so hopefully the 2/9 date sticks.
It's an M7 with CFZ...and my dealer is starting to **** me off as they do not return my calls.....
The moving dates I get from a "chat" on the website.
I might not want to return your calls either. You sound angry. How often do you call? The dealer can't do anything more than report what he is told. My initial target week was the same as yours. I simply told the dealer to call a week ahead of delivery so I can have the cash on hand. I don't anticipate contacting them again. Getting upset about something you can't control seems fruitless.
(1) This would be the second call since I ordered the car. So I do not think that's calling too much.
(2) When a customer spends over $100K for a car from Chevy (last time I checked they don't make many 100k+ cars) I believe it is reasonable to return a call.
(3) I would like to know if the reason for the moving TPW is because of a new constraint on the build and if so what should the expected REAL TPW be?
You think that's unreasonable? If so, I would disagree.
I understand you're frustration since i'm in the same boat as you. I don't think it's a situation the dealer can help you out with a lot though. They're at the mercy of GM after the order is placed as well. I think our best bet is to be patient and if we have questions before it's built just ask the chat line. There's nothing we can do to speed up the process and it will get here just as fast, or slow, regardless of how many phone calls, etc, we make.

No, calling a second time doesn't seem unreasonable, but the dealer probably isn't going to be able to answer (3). I still think that you should do what I am doing, don't fret over things you can't control and when you finally get the car, enjoy it. I have no doubt that the dealership wants to get that car ASAP to make their profit. You are probably right in thinking the TPW is moving because of production (parts acquisition) bottlenecks.
