Dreaming any of those changes! 2016's I predict the same car!
There are at minimum hundreds of current Z06 owners that will not buy until they make those changes. At minimum the spats and radiator. The 2.3 blower would just be a bonus. Until then, Ill keep my current Z06, and am considering a 14 Viper GTS.
Either way fans of the current 15 Z06 should wait 6 months to get the discounts.

I'm keeping my current Z06, too... b/c it has been an incredible car, and it makes a ridiculous amount of reliable power.
I can see the radiator/cooling upgrade and an ECU-retune... and if this happens then I would be shocked if '15 owners can't get those items retro-fitted to their cars at low-cost.
I don't see the 2.3 blower for various reasons (GM isn't going to go through the EPA recertification process on a car that is this new... that's just one reason, but a big one), and I don't see them making new, wider, front fenders to get rid of the spats.
I've definitely considered a new Viper... love the way they look, the power they make, and the interior is great. But... that car looks better on someone else. It's very much a "look at me" car, and while the Vette certainly gets some attention... not as much as the Viper; and I like that.

Because the changes you want are not happening. I agree on the 2.3 blower but it's is not happening either.
I took my own discount. $82,090 ready to go! I should have it before the end of march. Can't switch to a Viper they never have been the car I want.

Then the 2016 Z06 vs the 2016 GTR (Nismo) next year is going to be a worse beating for GM? There are going to be bumps in performance across all manufactures I would assume for next year.

Huh? 2016? Where does a GTR beat a Z06? 5-6 mph slower or Are talking that Nismo long way from a GTR still slower straight line long way from 82 k.
My car was 82k then a simple hall intake is coming already bring a GTR on! Thats funny!
Plus your off topic!

The one that slaughtered the Z06 except in a figure 8....Motor Trend I believe. You know the 2nd matchup that almost broke the internet.
Off topic? The OP himself questioned waiting for the 2016 should there be improvements which I think there will be.

The big spoilers and look at me effect. Is not for me
Silver base Z06 blends in and looks plenty mean. The huge spoilers and low front
of the Z07 if you track car fine. Just regular use the base is way better.
