Sorry to hear that. Again got nervous so just checked and date is still 4/6/15 and event code went to 3300 so it looks like I'm safe, but again we'll see.

I wanted to go with the ground effects but not available. Ordered a torch red, with 2lz in red, carbon flash stinger. The ground effects I ordered from Katech. The Z07 Rear Spoiler from GM. TPW still at 4/20/

When you do the Chevy chat thing , wonder if they keep a note on how many times you check? I have been doing it once a week for the last three, sure there are others that are excited like me too

Yes they keep a log. My TPW is 5-18 and I check a little to often to see if it has moved up, they answered one time with same as the last time you checked. I think once a week is fine but maybe they think otherwise.

GM would be smart to make an external system (customer accessible) that requires your Order number and some other piece of data as a PIN. Pay for the system once and then don't bog down your salespeople or chat support with these requests. Folks could then query once an hour if they felt like it with no real cost to GM (or guilt!).

I could not agree more. Each time I check I get the feeling I am being a PITA. Build my car and I will leave you alone.

GM should know they are dealing with a very emotional purchase, heck any new car buy to me is a big deal! I have worked in the retail jewelry business for over 35 years and when I tell a customer that their ring project will be ready in three weeks it better be finished and ready for pickup. If it falls behind then it goes down hill from there.. Guess I just have to be patient and when the car gets here all will be good. Thanks for the information though on how they keep a log, and i will keep going to Chevy chat once a week, if they dont like it , too bad

JTE, I saw a Crystal red with chrome wheels at a dealer in Dearborn Michigan in January, that looked awesome! Your car will be very nice! Cool color as it looks different on a sunny day or cloudy day, almost like two colors in one. Make sure to put some pictures on the forum

BMW actually has the system in place for ordered car! works great and never have to talk to salesmen or CS reps. A little copying by GM would be appreciated

Incorrect, some cars are delivered in as little as five days. It depends on where you live and how many cars are going to the same area.

My car was built on 3/17/15. I picked it up at my dealer in Independence, MO on 3/23/15.
