Wasn't this already an option? I seem to remember body colored vents as an option on the Z when I built mine.
I had a choice of two Z06/07's when I purchased mine. One had the Shark Gray vents with Arctic White paint. I thought it looked stupid and I couldn't reason why someone would pay an extra $995 for it. I ended up choosing another Arctic White Z06/07 with the black vents and Adrenaline Red interior. It looks sharp!
one of the things i really dislike is the carbon flash [ or whatever they are] colored vents. body color vent option takes away a whole lot of the ricer look for me. wish the headlamps were also included in that option. just can't warm up to the black headlamps...
I have always liked the contrast. I like TR and Carbon Flash, or DSOM and Carbon Flash. It cheapens the look if its all one color... that's just my view....

Nailed it..of course it's a personal thing..most on here will disagree because very few if any got this option
I like the black vents and am not a fan of changing them to the rest of the body's color. To each their own and obviously some people enjoy that look. I like things to really pop and have greater contrast. The black on black works though.
actually wouldn't mind a low mile 95 zr1 if i was into collecting..
If you are into collecting (and driving), I have a great low mileage very late production '95 for sale. More details in the for C4s sale section--here is the link: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...on-510-hp.html
Like the car has been repainted at Maaco.. and they didnt realize that the vents were NOT supposed to be painted over. The chrome ZR1 wheels only further the bad taste thoughts put into that vehicle.

i got over my collecting stage about 10 years ago...got rid of 4 of 5vettes and just kept the one i drive... realized less is more [ for me] ...never looked back and do not miss any of the cars...or the upkeep, expense, space they took up and so on...

Just needs a raindow warrior colored rear plate holder!
Had my heart set on the Long Beach Red (which is on constraint), but that photo of your car is about to change my mind on the color, plus I don't have to worry about the constraint!
I'm not a fan of the body colored vents. But everyone should order what they like and not worry about what others like.
Thats why they them "OPTIONS". Could you imagine going to a car show or track event and only seeing one color? If your buying a car, get it the way you want and don't worry what others think
