Default Watch the Hennessey HPE800 Z06 Blaze Down the Runway

This particular video features the Hennessey HPE800 testing from 0-175 mph at Houston's Ellington Airport with some pretty cool camera work.

First of all I didn't see a 0-175 run. I only saw him turning out onto a runway and hit the gas. That's not from 0, that from a roll.

He wasn't running against another car so it was impossible to judge his rate of acceleration.

And since when is 175 MPH a speed to crow about. For a top speed it's very weak, and since he didn't run a specified distance(like a 1/2 mile) who knows how long it took him to reach 175 from some mysterious lower speed, since he did the run from a roll.

It was really just a video to showcase the car (it does sound good though!). They ran it at some airport in Texas with a 7,000 foot runway. Not sure how they only got to 175 with 800+ HP in almost 1 and a half miles when most stock Z06's are going 150 ish at Shift Sector (not sure how long their runway is though).

I wouldn't trust those guys with my lawnmower, let alone my Z.

Truth. Apparently hundreds of people (thousands?) don't read or can't be bothered to investigate the shop before giving them money.

Unless you really hate your lawnmower. No telling what you would get back, after waiting three years for them to do their "magic" on it.

I'm sure the car had the proper minimum breakin performed before the upgrades and testing.
