well as owner of mclaren 12c ... my car is doing 60-130 mph in 6.6 second .. and i raced many cars ... like 991 turbo S Full bolts on and 2014 dodge viper bolts on .. i won in both races from rolling ... i think the mclaren in the video has problem with the driver ...

here my run against stock 991 turbo S ...

Yes the 650S is a beast... just incinerated the Viper TA.

I agree as well...and the 991 driver must have been slow to start as well. The car does 0-60 in the mid 2's. It should have blown you away from the start. My 2016 TTS beats pretty much anything else around.

This is what a well driven (power shifted) Gen V viper with bolts ons runs like.
Here is vs. a modded Mclaren.

Hard to say what effect those bolt ons have.

Another take, this time stock convertible McLaren vs tuned Gen V:

Default Come to think of it!

The Mclaren is a FI and is said to heat soak pretty good, as well!

Sorry, here's the McLaren I know running away from a 911 Turbo S, Italia, ZR1 etc.. Nothing against the OP, but I've seen too many videos of this incredible supercar beating them all.

Default All FI Supercars!

It would Really be good fun to do the Mazda Motortrend Best Drivers Car a full five laps (closer to a Ring time!)!

(The NA's would really be shining!!!)

I'm talking stock for stock, no viper or Z06, ZR1 have a chance. When you start saying modded, no one know whats really done to each car.

It looks like they did a roll start so it makes sense. I don't have a Z06 so I can't comment but my ZR traps higher in the half mile than my 991 turbos S 158 vs 152, however the 991 gets there about the same time with the ZR passing at the end. I need to try a rolling start between the two. I will do it in October and report back.

Out of the whole the launch from the turbo S is insane beating out the aventador and hurrican even. That said the 918 leaves the 911 like a turbo S vs a regular vette LOL. I have videos of 991 vs 918 / 991 vs Hurrican and 991 vs helcat at Shift3ctor half mile event in colorado. 991 is soooo easy to launch.

I do feel aero on the new Z06 has a factor at high speed. The same day I was trapping 157-158 a Z07 was trapping 153's.

Both the MP and the 650S should beat a Viper from a roll, they both move out. In other news, that yellow Viper might be the worst driven example I've seen. LOL. That guy needs an automatic trans car.

A friend has a tuned 991 TTS, it is much quicker than that.

I'm thinking it didn't have the factory power upgrade.

Besides from a roll, and if brake boosting, launch control only works optimally if surface traction allows it.

Manually shifting, short shifting, nannys on, no hp upgrade, who knows?

Doubtful. I don't even trust that example. Same day, same driver and see. Better yet, put the Z06 tires on the McLaren, game over.

The cars come the way the cars come. Some are AWD.....! Maybe tires is all they needed to do, but, they drop mega weight go special edition and still don't at least in the case of the Speciale here.

Nope the Vette has the drop on them here, but, they are coming fast. I like the new TT Ferrari for giving the Vette a go on the track. If it can't than mid engines with smaller rear tires probably can't. There is nothing missing with that bad boy.

Not sure what you're trying to say but money is on the 650S and Speciale. The 488 and 650S will also take it in a straight line, no question.
