Also run with another buddy of mine that have the same Z07 (Aero 3) 7M like mine, but his Z is 100% stock (mine have AFE) and I gain on him around 4 cars, the intake is a excellent mod for our cars

And obviously you don't have the A8 with all the bouncing off the rev limiter. That kills the acceleration, but, never the less!

Not power shifting either, you can see the accelerator come off inbetween shifts on the PDR

Why don't you see that happening? I thought a stock mp4-12c was a 10.6-10.7 quarter mile car. A well driven C7 Z with an intake should be right about there. Doesn't seem to hard to believe to me!

hehehe the McLaren was just in my door... he laid off before I did, the driver toll me that didn't put the "nanny's" in sport when we race and when he race with the Turbo S put it in sport and felt it much better... it can be so much difference?

I would say that Z07 Aero drag is killing him after 130

That is a mith, I race a Aero 1 a couple of month ago and we stay dead even up to 160 (both stock)

A myth? ............ Not hardly

An otherwise same car equipped with base aero will beat a ZO7 equipped car in a drag race....... and especially so above 130mph.

Those are the hard facts with no myth about it

At the drag strip rental that I had with several C7 Z06s, the fastest trap speed came from a Z07 equipped car. Seems the aero didn't hurt them below 130 mph. Just our findings.

911 Turbo S walked away like a Viper does in 4th gear.
