Default ECM updates installed

I was at the dealer today to take care of some dead USB ports, track alignment, ETC. I asked them to update the ECM with any new updates/calibrations. Attached are the updates they found and installed since my build date of 2/23/15 for my Z07 A8.

The WC tech said the 1st one was for a memory problem that apparently in a few cases tells the ECM there is an over heat and it pulls power. I have not had the problem but I wanted the ECM updated for everything to take that out of the equation for any future problems. Another one is for intermittent loss of contact i believe with blue tooth which I have experienced. The other ones..... Fu*k if I know (FIIK)! I didn't have time to go through the details of the updates. I had a 2 hour drive back home through heavy rainfall so didn't notice any obvious changes although the A8 seemed to shift better in D for mild street driving. Looks like there have been 8 updates from my build date, the second page is for the rough track calibration. You guys may know about this stuff, or if not, at least it shows ECM adjustments since Feb, 2015.

I learned that some of the corvette engineering team are headed to the field for meetings with Tech's and service guys. I do not know the subject of the meeting but the tech said he was going to be vocal about overheating. Apparently this dealer has had a lot of problems with this issue. All I got from the dealer in response to my reported and partially documented numerous overheat events was PIP5311A dated 8/11/15 which I believe is exactly what Tadge said on this forum about the issue. I know others have received the same piece of paper instead of a repair to solve the problem. The service guys almost looked embarrassed handing it to me instead of being able to fix the problem, but they knew that i already knew what the answer would be and I didn't give them a hard time about it. They didn't build it and they didn't design it.
Well, maybe something good will come of these meetings if the information is correct. ........bob

So, you are saying that there is an ECM fix for when the motor pulls power?

Sounds like there is a case in which the ECU thinks it is overheating and pulls power when it is not actually overheating. This may be what that magazine article car was experiencing when it showed gauge temperature that was not overheating, but displayed an overheat warning.

I believe that is the case but the reason had to do with incorrect memory. I think there was a post about it and the ECM. Since I was focused on other issues and haven't had the problem, I didn't get into detail. As it happened, i was there for 2 hours with them when I picked up the car discussing various issues including the upcoming meeting with the corvette engineers and of course overheating. My point in posting it is to show how many ECM changes they made since my build date and what GM is calling them. Its not uncommon to make these changes, but there are a number of them so i thought it might help out some forum members. Now we got a list! ........bob

By the time the car comes back to the pits the overheating message always dissapears and temps go down. The only way to capture the message is to drive on the track with a camera in your hand.
