I went to the track Friday and tried the PDR. I now have the disc in my computer and all I see is regular audio and video of my sessions. To set recording, I would go to the home menu, press PDR, then press start after I put the car into track mode, sport 1. How do I get the PDR to record all the data, GPS, speed, etc...?
Did you set the overlay to "track" in the car PDR settings menu? That is what will give you the RPM, throttle, track map, etc on the video itself.
Also, you need to define the finish line the first time at a given track by pressing the "mark finish line" button also in the PDR settings.
The data itself is embedded in the video. If you download the Cosworth toolbox software from GM you should be able to see the data but I don't know of a way to retroactively add the overlay to the video. Also, everything will look like one big lap in the data if you never defined the finish line.
Thank you. I'll go through settings again and get it figured out before next rack day.
By the way, this car is amazing!
You probably just need to download cosworth toolbox. That will give you the data -- it is encoded into the video (just repeating what is above if you didn't catch it).
