Wind Noise
Mine's a 2017 that still creaks. The TSB for bolts didn't cover 2017s. The Service Manager said he couldn't do a TSB warranty on my creaking top because it wasn't covered. I said; it still creaks. Impasse. He promised to take care of it at NC even out of warranty
My 'vert has no wind noise (by which I mean leaks) and at cruise you hear the tires more than wind, so I don't think it's much louder than the coupe, really.
So if you have a leaky seal somewhere, you should get it fixed, as its not normal for these cars.
The C7 vert is my first Corvette vert. I swore I would not buy another PITA roof panel or T-top coupe again. I picked a good one in the C7 to go with.
As an owner described the insulation factor of the convertible top. It is so quiet in the cabin. It's nothing short of awesome! The vert just looks much than the hatchback, and the lines are much better than the C6 vert's.

If it is your driver's side window, you will have to have someone put the tape on while you are inside. Make sure the area is nice and clean or it will not stick very well.
Then take for a drive and see if that fixes it - if the noise is gone (you can drive the same route again with the tape removed) then you know where the problem is.
If it is at the window seal area, then you will need a new seal. If could also be other edges around the windshield of side glass (sound travels and can be difficult to determine exactly where it is coming from).
Wind direction makes a big difference too.
I would not use duct tape - it leaves a hard to remove mess.
