Options?
I love the CC brakes both in looks and operation
I had the opportunity to feel both the 3lz leather and 2lz leather and frankly liked the Mulan better than the Napa. Just my preference though
Regarding the Z07 package, I do plan on tracking the car a couple times a year but I doubt at my skill level the stage 3 aero will make a difference. I just love the look. Serious head turner
I also like the PDR. I turn it on quite frequently just in case something happens. I'm going to assume if I ever get in an accident it won't be my fault https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...Angel_anim.gif
Good luck!
The only other two options I considered were PDR and competition seats. I decided not to get the competition seats because a forum member posted a how to DIY install that allows mixing and matching whatever parts you want between GT and Comp seats at a lower cost than the $2,500 comp seat premium. I didn't get the PDR because I wanted to build my own. I don't regret not getting these, but I wouldn't feel cheated given their low cost and do recommend them to others.
Leather - don't care, wouldn't spend a penny more on leather. Vinyl has a more interesting texture imo and it's just as rugged and just as appealing. We're not talking about cloth or bare plastic panels. To me the base interior is just as good as the higher trims. I don't think a high end sports car made out of exotic metal and composites needs to have cow hide. Alcantara I like even less, just slightly more than fabric/cloth...
Paying for finish and see through coats - is a waste of money imo. The car looks best when it is painted in the same color. I'm not a fan of panels being mismatched or two-tone like 80s cars. The wheels are semi-forged so you may as well get whatever comes stock and buy forged in whatever finish you want. This is one mod that is ideal for just about any kind of driving and a great way to upgrade an otherwise maxed out car. Multiple coats/premium paint jobs are fine by me, but I never had a black car and black was not extra so the choice was easy. Plus, I don't need to wash off rubber marks from the track.
