Got my Corsa Double Helix midpipe installed today. It sounds so amazing in cold start! The crackles and pops during WOT shifting is amazing. Other than headers, I don't see the need to get aftermarket exhaust to improve on the sound. Will do proper videos with the microphone on the exhaust soon
^^^ Add their Extreme mufflers, and it sounds even better... looks better too w/the 4.5" tips
Not sure if it's worth the money for exhaust. Stock opened is amazing. If I'm spending 2k toward exhaust, I'll put that toward 180 degree headers. I think I'll do that in the future. This is an LS 180 degree headers buggy
You can believe what you choose, most people do and it's hard to change your mind after spending $500 bucks. I know I would most likely go ahead with the install myself. And I would of liked to of had some improvement but I took mine to the drag strip and reported on "my" results. I do not get a kick out of seeing $500+ dollars standing in the corner but between more power (stock) and more sound I sucked the lost up and took the power.
The Problem: Most people don't take their cars to the track after an X-pipe install or before. They hear the sound which cries performance and like myself they think bigger has got to be better so they think from the sound the car is faster.
Good luck with your decision. If you do the install, please do the before and after testing and report your results. If you choose the dyno remember mid-range power is paramount to overall performance.
I lost bottom end Torq on the street, adding a Borla X pipe on my 2017 Z06, it sounds better , but i knew the before and after take off launch of my car and it seems it lost some torq. mark
How can Corsa make the HP and torque claims if the results are fiction?
Also, I've read on Super Chevy magazine, and a few other locations that they did show HP AND torque gains from the Corsa double helix and Xtreme or Sport muffler systems.
I'm curious of how real world claims show no gain, yet the manufacturer and other sources show gains.
I've installed the entire cat-back from Corsa (double helix X-Pipe and Xtreme muffler system), which removed the secondary cats.
Yes, the sound is voluminous American V-8 at any RPM (much more than the stock NPP system).
I cannot, however, vouch for any HP or torque gains, as I've never done a before or an after dyno test.
I trusted the Super Chevy magazine test and believed the manufacturer's claims.
One thing for certain, the four 4.5" black round tips and the sound are incredible!
Still, curious why real world testing is proving different claims than manufacturer.
I added a borla X pipe and Rear mufflers to my 2017 Z06, it feels like I lost Torq on the street, compared to the stock exhaust, car sounds better but something isn't right on bottom end seems slightly more slugish , i Assume if it had a re-tune now that the Secondary cats are gone it would help ?.

It's actually vinyl wrapped. Color is very close to "carbon flash painted". The front end is so much more aggressive now
