my cat delete/corsa x pipe sounds the same as long tubes with no cats. Heard one saturday at cars and coffee and 2 other c7 z06 owners said they both sound the same.

Only thing with my set up you wont hear the annoying ticking that headers give since we are using the thicker oem exhaust manifold.

They are definitely louder than headers, I haven't had headers on this car, but did on my C6 Z06, these are definitely louder but not obnoxious, especially in track mode. In stealth mode, you can't even tell it doesn't have cats. It's a beautiful thing... When I drove the car, it was 40 to 50 degrees out, so the car was runnng better anyway because of the weather, but the few times I got a chance to hit it hard it seemed allot more responive. One time, I was at about 65 mph, and downshifted and floored it and the car went sideways. It maybe a placebo effect, but I can feel the difference. I don't drag race the car so I wouldn't have any before and after time slips, but the next HPDE I do, I will have lap times to compare before and after. Also, I did put the rear two mini cats on from Big Daddies and no CEL so far...

Are you all DIY installing these or having a professional shop do it? If shop, how many labor hours roughly? Also, is there a fix for the CEL?

Maybe this has been discussed but has there been any wideband tests done to see if afr has changed with the pipe? My factory table calls for a Lambda of about .85 in the 3000 rpm range and down to about .83 at 6144 rpm and up. This is with 10% Ethanol.

I've never worked with Direct Injection but this seems lean to me.

The .83 over 6144 RPM is most likely for Cat Overtemp Protection. I assume tuners find gains moving this value back to .85.....

The .83 is directly from the EQ ratio enrichment table. COT adds up to another 20% fuel.
