You will get the light at some point, you need to know that if you are going to mod the car. The year and make definitely play a role in how sensitive the stock tune is but if you ever run too low on fuel, push the car past certain conditions that the stock tune cant account for, you will need to reset the car by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it to hopefully get rid of the code.

I have gone 1000+ miles with the big daddy foulers (Which work as intended) but you can only go so far with the stock tune, if you can't handle that then I do not suggest you modding this car. (Sorry if that sounds aggressive, its just the truth).

You can use a plug in OBD tool to just turn off the light each time it comes on.

Other one keeps cats

Like the pictures i posted show the x pipe cats flow wayyyyyy better than the main cats.

The main restriction on the c7z and zr1 are the main cats..... the x pipe oem cats aren't that bad.

Here are the main cats on the c7z.... also look at the entry piping.... my cat delete address that inlet flow restriction also

there is no doubt in my mind. Every person who tries to buy a catless x pipe, i ask them if they have your catless downpipes. If they say no, i tell them they are foolish. Make the car louder with your pipes first... and then if they want louder... get the x pipe.

We are about to put together our recipe for making cars run cooler and make more power. Your pipes and your pipes alone, are going to be the only alteration to the exhaust system, in our recipe. Its not coincidence that members like jstewart and many others are making so much power on stock blower with your pipes. I just wish i had your business and beat you to this idea... its pretty simple and clever.

I didn't specify M7 when I ordered mine, I'm fairly certain that you worked this issue out awhile and designed the same pipes to work for both...

I caught a whole bunch of skepticism about my decision to use these cat delete pipes instead of LT headers. It was not because I am cheap, it was because these work. I actually did not expect to see as much as I got with a stock cam and neither did Weapon X who originally wanted me to use 2" LT headers. I made 742 HP & 803 TQ using these catless downpipes which proves they are more than capable of supporting big HP. Not only do they work but they are beautifully made and they fit perfectly. My recommendation is to use the money and labor you save using these to put a meth injection system on the car to keep the intake temps down and keep the motor from pulling timing. Even if you don't want to use meth these pipes make more sense unless you just want to spend another $1,200 dollars for maybe 3 to 4 additional HP which you will never feel. Frankly I expect these downpipes will support more than we got and I will find out when I add a second meth nozzle this spring. Good job norcal

What tool are you guy's using to remove the two front bolts? I have a flex ratchet wrench but it seems to want to try to strip the bolt. Also are you guy's removing the oil lines on the passenger-side to get to the bolt closes to the back.

with the engine raised deep well and ratchet fit right on, as far as oil lines didn’t have to move them
