I paid $4200 CDN when I had it done and my installer was the first to tell me he misquoted me as the Z06 took much more time than expected. My car took him 3 days. His great work paid off though as I have sent some great business his way. What comes around right...

So.... The car was dropped off at the dealer without ever getting the required GM pre-delivery inspection by the dealer...and then in a single day, they machine polished, and applied a complete PPF cover of Suntec, then applying a ceramic coating over top of that and applying protection on the windshield? Really?

That's just incredible and I gotta wonder why you paid that much considering the biggest cost in doing such is in the labor, not the product. If it takes a speedy installer 2 plus business days, yet yours did it in half that.... But then again....I am speaking of the Z06 and not a base Stingray.

Didn't see any closeups of the rear hip area in front of the rear tire all along down to the brake vent. My car is literally getting sandblasted free of paint.

Keep in mind these are what we typically see across the country and it can vary with these factors:
- Where you live
- Demand for paint protection film
- Size of your vehicle

For a partial front end: This includes 18-24” up the hood and fenders, front bumper, mirrors and sometimes headlights. This ranges from $895 - $1,195.

For full front coverage: This includes the entire hood and front fenders, front bumper, mirrors and sometimes headlights. This ranges from $1,895 - $2,195.

For full car coverage: This includes every painted surface on the car possible. This ranges from $4,500 - $8,000.

Yep. This picture doesn't show the worst area which is up higher. I'll take some closeups.

^^^ I can clearly see the brake duct getting pounded (like mine).
I'm surprised side skirts are allowing this to happen.

IMO, this is a FAIL on GM for not coming up with a better design on the Vette.

[QUOTE=AllFlash;1592273327]It still doesn't compare to this shot; I loved the article and piks! WE will have to meet up once I finally get the guts to drive and park it in NYC. Travel up that way a few times a year; I just havent found a comfortable and assuring parking facility in Manhattan yet lol.

Hey New member here. Last month I drove down to Manhattan and felt most comfortable parking at an automated garage in chinatown. I don't trust valets.

Geeze 8K? I knew I was going to spend some money, but was not expecting that much. So if I were to start deleting things, what takes the minimal abuse?

Can't see why I would need the trunk done, someone already mentioned in another thread the the rear fascia does not get beat up too much other then the very bottom, and I don't have a roof.

Are you guys doing the side skirts?

I also did my entire Z06. Glad I did. Recently found a scratch on my left rear fender. Xpel was removed and scratch disappeared. My installer replaced it at no extra cost.
