No vibrations....the unit is very tight and with the spring loading rates that have on the shifter I doubt that there would ever be any.
I must comment that my shifter rail had turn marks I could feel with my finger nail. As a result I took some 800 grit paper followed by 1500 grit paper and got rid of most of the turn marks.
Once the shifter was together the shift feel is really crisp.
I wanted the shifter because I wanted the movements tightened up so I would have a much lower chance of missing a gear.....I feel that this accomplished that goal......
