I don't beat on it much i have to admit but i never use 7th gear which keeps the revs up a bit high when highway cruising. I like to keep the rpms at around 2k when cruising the highway. NJ roads are too unpredictable that i need that few extra revs so i don't need to downshift in case i need to accelerate a bit.
