(djnice) By pulling off the triangle car piece you don't have to remove tires to drill. Just lay splash guard on car trim piece, trace line on inside portion of triangle & wa-la, perfect fit. Use small C clamps to hold loosely till you get measurements right, then tighten to drill pilot holes (keep 'em small). Put outside screws very near outside edge of trim piece so no gap but be careful not to distort lip of triangle w/washer or when clamping. Gitr done!
Here's a pic of the screw w/spring washer attached. I used 5 screws on outside edge of flap, #1 being in pointed top part, #5 being at very bottom, then #6 being on inside edge at bottom & 2 more up inside edge. I realize this might be overkill but wanted outside edge pulled snug to triangular trim pc. w/no gap. They are black so they are not real obvious.
Can you guys post pics of ur Z's so we can see the whole car from different angles and how those "stop rocks from hitting rear qtrs" flaps really look.
I have a brand new set of the factory GM extended splash guards. I accidently bought 2 sets and they wouldn't refund me my money. Paid $130 for the front and back. I will sell for $100 shipped. PM me if interested
Does anyone have pics with GM splash guards installed on a Z? I have seen many on C7s but haven't seen them on a Z. Are they the same part number as the base car or different?
Same part. I bought a set for my 2014 Stingray. Took them off when I traded for my Z06 and put on the Z06. Piece of cake.

Side skirts work best for protecting your rear quarters. You can't see the bigger GM splash guards I installed but they are there.
