No. In regular sport mode if you just turn off traction control off by hitting the center console once real quick stabilitrac/active handling is still on. This is the same case when you are in touring, sport, or track mode. To turn off both Trac. control and stabiltrac/active handling in these mode press the center console button for about 6 or 7 second straight and then you will have turned both nanny features off.
So, is it best to run the car with the T/C off AND the A/H off as well?
Or with ONLY T/C off, but A/H still on?
(mine is c7 z06 A8 w/DR's)
Also, some say to use Sport mode, and some say to use Track mode... what's the difference, and which works best with DR's?

Got there, brought a helmet, signed the appropriate paperwork... It began to sprinkle rain, we waited and then left.
It seems to me that this vehicle, with this much horse power would be difficult to keep the rear wheels from breaking loose. I think to race properly, the rear wheels and tire's would need replaced with something more track specific.
Since you sound a little nervous, here's what I'd do.
- Put the car in D
- Put the mode in Sport
- When the last yellow light turns off, floor it
That's all you need to do, and the car will have ALL of it's nannies on. If it gets sideways at all, lift, don't try to save the run. If anything ever feels weird, gently lift and steer. But you'll effectively be driving straight down a two-lane highway.
I'd say that''s your lowest risk, safest way to try it out. With factory tires on a decent surface should be no riskier initially than a freeway onramp, so have fun!
I Agree.
Trying to get an extra tenth is not worth taking the chance to put your car into the wall.
I tried to run Friday and couldn't access the sub modes due to rears having no tpms in them. It only let me turn off the trac control and it was cutting power intermittent down the track. I could only muster a 10.7 @ 130 with a 1.7 60' time. This is with a 7spd and MT et ss tires. I think I could've gotten to 10.4 or 5 without the interference from not getting in the sub modes. Also, I ran I sport each time but the last.
How are you guys heating the tires up? Are you A8 guys powerbraking?
I have a manual 7 and didn't want to powerbrake on the CCB's. I was figuring a
2nd gear burnout and ride it out to get the wheel speed up. Will be hitting the 1/4
mile soon and any help is appreciated. I'm not new to it but am new to the corvette.

Most I have seen on the forum including myself run with TControl off and Stabiltrac (AH) on. This wa yif the car gets squirrelly going down the track the Stabiltrac will kick in and give you the best chance of not kissing the wall.
That being said you will get the MOST power our of the car by turning of both TC and Stabiltrac (AHandling) but your on your own then if the car get's squirrelly.
Many have had great success running in touring mode as they believe with the softer suspension the car gets better weight transfer to the rear when you launch giving you better traction and therefore a better 60 foot time. Many others have had good success also running in sport mode or regular track mode you just have to practice and see what you and your car likes the most.
Hope that helped a little bit.
