Dilemma-I'm not a yellow Vette guy, but found a leftover

I assumed you've looked at one. Reason I ask is that I love yellow, had a 2004 C5Z that was MY and loved it for 12.5 years. However was surprised how pale the current yellow is...went with TR and love it. As others have said, if you don't like the color move on--you'll find a deal on a color you like!

I think this car wears yellow the best. Of course I didn't get yellow because I'd have a thousand tickets by now as opposed to one which already went away.
Looks like a great deal. I'd get it and if you don't love the yellow just wrap it. I'd be happy to do an art car wrap for you if you've got $3k lying around. Almost done with our Tahoe...
Best,
Gene

Oh here we go....a poser who wants to "look" like a C7.R....
First off....stop being a poser... If you want a C7.R get one.
Other than that, I honestly think this is a great deal. I don't get why they have carbon fiber ground effects and not the carbon hood insert, but that is how it goes. Yellow was my 2nd choice, so I'm all for it with black wheels, non black not so much. Be aware Yellow attracts attention.... Just abut as much as my AW....LOL

COLOR is a HUGE factor when getting that car you really want, if you choose the WRONG color that you will not like, YOUR fcqked!
If you can dress up with this yellow Z to be something you REALLY like by giving it that C7 R look then go for it, as this is a SMOKING Deal $ wise!
BUTTTTTTT, and I speak from experience when I tell you this b/c I have owned a lot of cool bad azz cars and COLOR is REALLY important, if your going to always be second guessing whether you LOVE the way your car looks then DON'T do it!! BUT, if you can personalize in a manner that you LOVE and you certainly can give it that C7 R look if you want, than do it by all means, if you truely LOVE or REALLY like the look do it and don't look back. BUT, if your always going to be questioning in your mind whether you LOVE your car everytime when you look at it then don't do it, and get your Z in your favorite colors!
Best of luck with your decision.

Exactly. The yellow makes this Z more exotic with the black wheels. Chrome wheels just ruins it unless its an Escalade lol

Op,
if you like the color buy it.
If you don't like the color do not buy it.
Its a good deal. If you like the color.
I think silver best shows the lines of the c7
my preferred color is Watkins grey with Chromes
if you like the color buy it.

What Speednet said!!! I spent many years selling BMWs and MINIs and frequently ran into people just claiming to want the lowest price and not caring about what car it was. I always advised people to zero in on the car they really want and love and then negotiate the lowest price. Usually the incremental increase in price, if there is one, for the one you want is very minor especially if you consider monthly cost of ownership. And you really don't want to open the garage door every morning and say "I wish I had bought the other one..." Most people accepted my advice on this and left very happy--Bob

I wasn't a yellow guy either but found a similar deal....and now I am in with yellow! On this car it really pops against the black accents. No regrets.
Oh and ps this is my ninth Vette and this car has gotten more compliments in the last six months than any other car I've owned, hands down!

I'm not a fan of yellow but it does look really good on the C7Z. If its a forever car get the color you want. If you flip cars every 3-7 years save the money and pull trigger on the yellow!

I'm a huge yellow vette fan. I had a 2002 Z06 in MY, then a 2009 GT1 Z06 in Velocity Yellow. Currently have a LRG Z51 convertible but I'd love a new Yellow Z06. Send me a pm so I can call on it please.
