.........as HRT stated: $1K will net you roughly 20-40rwhp with some simple add-ons. I'll never understand the engine dress up theory much as I don't understand the carbon fiber plastering either.

I wouldn't spend a grand on engine dress up either as I dont show my car, but each to his own, and it does look cool.

I spent a fair bit on CF goodies, but I get to see it everyday and in changes the look of my DD big time.

If you are a track guy, the priorities are different.

All cool right

I got a set of red ones sitting in my garage waiting to be put on in a few weeks. I have a expansion tank in the same area, do you have to remove it to change out the valve covers????

I pulled my tank out just to have more room during the install.

Did you have to take apart some of the PCV fittings, etc out of the stock valve cover and incorporate in the katech valve cover to make it work.

They come with one nipple per cover you will need to rework the pcv lines the factory fittings will work, then you will lose center of passenger side no big deal I will be using the MM oil catch system and I am replacing all lines with HPS black silicone hoses to reroute out of sight did one today looking better every day. You will need a dremel to cut off the tabs for the wire harness.

Not to knock your ride, because it does look awesome. But I much prefer the exposed valve covers and coil relocation look. The covers almost seem like fake carbon fiber to me.

Both of these look terrific - I like the red corvette lettering on the sc cover, nice touch.

Has anyone done a wrinkle finish (like Ferrari)?
