That's just the pulley/impeller, not the complete pump assembly which is what's needed when one goes bad.
I don't think so. There are lots of GM cars that are now designed where you just replace the impeller and mechanical shaft seal without having to replace the whole manifold as in previous years. You leave all the hoses in place.
