Have been trying to decide on new rims for my 17 Grand Sport. Seen these online and heard of the colors - Hyper Silver and Pearl Nickel online. Are they the same. I've attached 2 pictures from online photos. I know one picture is in brighter sun that the other but these wheels look totally different to me. Like the wheel look on the lighter grey Z06. Is it just the lighting? Trying to decide on chrome or these.

I think it's just the lighting. The appear to be the same, standard pearl nickel wheels.

For what it's worth, IMO the cup wheels on the Grandsport are better.

The nickel/silver wheels came on the car but after awhile I went to the chrome. There was nothing wrong with the looks of the nickel I just thought the chrome looked better.

Note: Stock chrome wheels and tires up front and chrome 18X12 aftermarket (look-a-like) rims and drag radials on the rear.

I love the Pearl Nickel. I'm trying to find these for my 2006 I just picked up.
NO CHROME,,,, come on wheel companies we need better selections.
All I see now is: Chrome/Gun metal/ Black. Billy Phx az

Here’s mine, I had chrome spider wheels on my 06Z so I’ve experienced both. I couldn’t be happier with these on my 16Z.

I have a SG 16 Z and after I bought mine and it came with the (bleehh) black wheels I saw one parked at my club with the pearl nickel. Just a really great look. What I ended up doing however was nearly matching the SG finish with aftermarket monoblocks in a tinted brushed clear (Morr's name) or Transparent Smoke (Forgeline's name) which are nearly the same color as the SG.



But for price and value go with the GS wheels in the pearl nickel from our Forum vendors.
