Magnetic ride selection was available in the 2011 Carbon edition and the 2012, 2013. I had a 2012 Centennial with it and the car handled much better than my 2006 Z. Big improvement in that generation. The seats and stereo was much improved in the 2012 & 2013.

Overheating
There is a class action lawsuit against GM, in place now from several z06 owners over 30,000 with complaints related to overheating/cooling issues.

Unfortunately chevy didn't approach the C7 Z06 as they did the C6 with continued evolution like cars from other continents. Yes, they fixed their cooling issues for 2017/8 which they knew about preproduction. The rest is mostly cosmetics. The aerodynamic interest of downforce and drag stole lots of horsepower unlike the GT 3. Except for no overheating for 2017/18 whats really new mechanically in the Z06? I love my 2011 Z06/7 they evolved the C6 Z06 more mechanically in that generation of corvette.
Right now, the GT3 is only better than the Z off the line because of its transmission. That is, that is all. The Z is a better performer. In fact, the Camaro ZL1 1LE is only 4 seconds off the GT3 Nurburgring lap time. Ponder that for a minute.
You need a better analogy. Try again.
