Default Front Brake Cooling Kit

Is the GM Performance Parts (pn# 23412348) front brake cooling kit any advantage for a stock Z06/Z07 with CCB's that will see a few track days, but mostly street use worth the install?
I searched the forum and other sites but saw a lot of conflicting opinions.
Thanks.

I run them but mostly track the car. I leave them on all the time. They do duct more air than not having them so I thought it was worth it

I,also, have them on my Z07 and they might be helping the fronts stay a little cooler. It certainly doesn't hurt to install them imho, and I also leave them on all the time.

NB: they do tend to rub/contact the suspension components when the wheels aren't loaded. Not an issue when on the ground though.

Thanks Bish,
Not sure what you mean about rub/contact issue, can you explain?

So when they were installed and my car was up on a rack and the front wheels turned, at extreme angles there was some minor contact between the brake ducts and one of the suspension/steering components; (sorry I forget which one). So there was this minor 'rubbing/popping' noise. But when the wheels aren't hanging free in the air and the car is on the ground there is no contact with the ducts' hence no noises.

Hope that explains it a little better.
