as for nobody cares about the ring time? I don't think 99% of us do care but what we did care about was everybody running their mouth over and over again about how couldn't make it around the stupid track like the car was going to overheat in 7 minutes I mean come on? Just glad this is put to rest

I just watched the Z06 lap on one monitor and the ZL1 on another. Pretty interesting how close the two are. The ZL1 actually pulls ahead in sector 2 of the track but the Z06 flys through the last part of sector 2 and gains a good bit of ground into sector 3.

It would make more sense if GM didn't release times for any of their cars, but they have released times for the C5Z (Dave Hill driving, but I don't think it was an official GM test) C6, C6Z, ZR1, C5 ZL1, C5 Z28, C6 ZL1, C6 ZL1 1LE....

I suspect the GM official time/video will come out over the next few days. From recent history, the official times get released close to the Sport Auto tests.
Crossing my fingers, we can see an ever better official time from GM. Come on General..get on it!

Maybe GM hasn't had a clean run with it yet...rain, traffic, crash, etc.
