Yes, I miss my C5. But it was a FRC (never cared for the "fastback"), and was aftermarket supercharged, so it wasn't all that much slower than the C7 ZO6.
The biggest thing I miss is that the C5 felt more like a "sports car". The C7 ZO6 is certainly a very fine car, but it's a little numb-feeling for my taste, in comparison. In addition to that difference in the driving experience, I never minded things like mechanical door latches, or a mechanical parking brake (or "emergency brake"). The electrical switch-activated parking brake gives you no feedback at all on the level of brake application.
I've always enjoyed sports cars for the driving experience and the feedback they can potentially offer. Having the latest googaws doesn't mean all that much to me. Heck, I'd even be OK with manual rollup windows. Anyone remember those?

In my opinion, it's too much car to sell at 15k-20k. If you NEED the money sure, but if not, keep it. I'm never selling our C5Z. My girl drives the C6 mostly. I want every gen...I've decided...
I've owned all but a C1 by 37yrs old, but I bought and sold them. I want all of them now...whole fleet....lol.

I traded my 2004 Z06 for a 2014 Stingray, and don't really miss the C5.
It was a good car, but after 10 years things are going to start to break, especially if you are driving it every day like I did.
The C5 was my only car for several years and I drove it to work everyday.
The base Stingray has more HP and will out perform my C5 in almost every category.
