I think I'm going to try it. I'll have it in time for my track day Friday but it might not matter, weather calls for 50's and rain.

It's likely very similar to Redline Water Wetter, which has worked well in my C7. Amsoil and Royal Purple also have their own versions of it. Personally, I've been using Redline products without issue for well over a decade now so I lean towards the Water Wetter...doesn't hurt its cheaper either.

Thanks, it's got me pretty bummed right now.

Regarding the Mo Cool, I have a similar product in my KTM and it didn't prevent a boil over yesterday but admittedly that was on a ride with my 10 y.o. daughter who was going... 4mph. However, very proud that she was out on the trails and giving it a go. We are just building confident at this point... just like me in the ZO6 at the track.

Also, I have adjusted the water/coolant ratio by dumping some coolant and adding DW.

All in the seat time my man. I just did my first track day in the Z and was blessed with PERFECT weather. Car ran cool with no issues.

Seriously, save your money.

Most of these "cooling aids" work on the basis of running more water in your system as water is a much better heat transfer medium than antifreeze. So instead of 50/50 mixture you run 80/20 or even more water. Most of these cooling aids will help lubricate the pump and seals that the antifreeze was lubricating once you go to a very high percentage of water.

The idea of these additives dramatically changing surface tension in a highly pressurized system used in modern smog emission vehicles just cannot be measured enough to matter.

Just think, if there was an additive that made your cooling system that much more efficient, don't you think that the OEM's would be using it? Being able to make the radiators smaller, the grill openings smaller and more aerodynamic, etc....even if they saved $5.00 per car they would do it.

Want to make are real cooling difference?....make sure your radiator and A/C condenser are clean of debris.

Ive spent some more time on the track in TA 2.0 and been on track 1 time in my TA 1.0 and feel the those cars are closer in comparison. Keep in mind I don't make it to the track anywhere near some of the guys around here so take that in consideration.

Oddly enough, the ACR is the more forgiving car. You have to really stay on top of the Z as she does want to swing around when getting greedy (at least to her) with throttle. The way the Viper makes power (this is the entire Gen V lineup) is much preferred on track (to me) than the way the Z makes power. Put them on the street and this flip flops...I then prefer the the way the Z makes its power. Some might call me crazy but I don't need to be on the track to feel the amount of df the Viper has on the Z. Theyre both monsters on the straights feeling about equal maybe giving the edge to the Z there but not by much. Unf I had to cut my Z's track time due to the R7's being shot. Weather was perfect this day and the Z ran cool. Z is stock with exception of borla X.

Overall totally happy with the way the Z ran first day on the track.

Well I guess the 15* drop in my normal (lead footed) driving is all in my head than..... Before and after tests were a high of 224* without and 209* with.

Now it's not that I don't agree with you, more water over antifreeze does help but Water Wetter works too.

Similar results for me. Dumping in a bottle of Redline Water Wetter yielded an immediate drop in temps by an average of 10-15 degrees.
