3pt permanent hatch mounted! ;)
(Camaro paint scheme came first!? Is this simply basically what they're hiding (Haven't loved all the black)? Below tail light diff and trans heat extractors, and improved cooling system?)
vs 2pt temporary fascia area mounted! Same - Same!

To each their own and I get the big wing is a love/hate thing...HOWEVER, anyone who thinks the ZR1 doesn't look better than the Z06 needs a cranial adjustment. Kidding, but seriously, What's not to like?
Pure speculation...BUT....
Possibly No Spats = better
More HP = better
TQ = better
Cooling = better
Handling = better
Optional Wing = better
Exclusivity = better
Price = worse
Overall a more masculine look. Not sure why someone would choose the Z06 over the new ZR1...if you don't like the big wing, get the small wing or put the stage 3 Z06 nascar flap (wicker bill) on the back, lol.
I own a Z06 and LOVE IT...but I'd take the new ZR1 over it in a heartbeat from what I've seen so far. Again, to each their own...some people just have a hard to time admitting when something is better. We won't know for sure until it's released...but 99.9% chance it's better.

Next..... no Camaro tail lights on the C8.

Plus the front is not exactly what the drawings are showing. Still
rather have the deal I got my 2017 about 1/2 price of the new ZR1 and I have it this week.
Plus the gap between Z06 and ZR1 will be less than it was with the C6's

This is a terrific looking car. I love the wing....THE LARGE WING. The smaller wing is just OK.... Think about Corvette Racing cars and that conversation will stop....and it should.
This is obviously a track car-I don't think Chevrolet cares about whether we like the car aesthetically or not.....especially if we're going to be driving it on the streets. It was built and designed for speed, aero and downforce.
And trust me-the camo you see on the car is exactly what GM wants you to see.

Finalist 2020 C7 of the Year -- Unmodified
The ZR1 will definitely beat a Z06 but if I don't like the BIG and SMALL WINGthan I just cant except the look! Just what I think but doesn't matter in the big picture of what GM or others on the forum think.

Around a track OK! I'll bite, buy one race it around the track the expense club expensive fun but Otherwise
No the Z06 smokes the ZR1 in value. Pretty sure it still is a Z06 frame
and 80 percent Z06's parts. Likely an LT4 with a 2300-2600 blower.
I'll take the Z06 any day anytime and not worried about a ZR1 a car you will never see. If I'm spending 150k (which they will be the first year) on Corvette. I'll try a Mc Laren instead. I still have not seen an Viper ACR Viper on the road.
I just bought a Z06 2017 A8 (PDR, Nav) for 1/2 the ZR1 first year list price with mark up and the ZR1 will be marginally faster than my A8 and slower than my M7 which will have a new blower by the time the ZR1 if it even does in my neck of the woods appears.

from a looks only stand point, an attractive rear spoiler doesn't exist on any vette including that Z07 "thing" BUT it is necessary to compete.

In fact, I'd bet that GM probably doesn't want all the Z06 guys doing a simple bumper swap (and/or) possibly a fender and bumper swap. From those pictures, which are NOT the final product, I don't see how the ZR1 bumper will 'swap' over to the Z06...I think you'll need new fenders, a new bumper AND a new hood. That's a lot of parts and cost.

Right! ;)
Obviously I could be wrong...but how do you figure that will be possible when the front hood has a larger 'bulge' and different angles down to the front facia and fenders?

No as childish as you !
You sound like my choice of two Z06's for my garage bother's you? So you whip out the little kid stuff!
The ZR1 will be twice the price and a track car. The Z06
is about the top car out and the ZR1 will only be marginally faster.
I don't track and never will and this is the Z06 forum last I looked.
If I want a ZR1 I can cash some stock or maybe bonds since I have plenty and buy one but it is not happening.
Happy with my choices!

Like I've said before.
The waxers can buy the C7 Z06 and be happy sitting in the parking lot talking the car up, meanwhile those of us that actually track our cars will enjoy the C7 ZR1.
Something for everyone

Hmmm!?
The Huracán Performante uses an aluminum-and-carbon-fiber spaceframe, while the body panels are formed from aluminum and Lamborghini’s trademarked Forged Composite carbon-fiber technology. Shifting to this composite for the engine cover, front splitter, rear wing, and the rear fascia and diffuser pared about 88 pounds.
