Winter Storage (6 months in WI)
2015 Z06 - Three questions for storing my Z06 in garage.
1. Should I store with full tank of fuel or 1/4 tank of fuel?
2.Should I remove tires and store on blocks (any suspension issues)?
3. Start engine monthly or not until ready to drive?

2. Leave the tires on , but inflate to 37psi
3.dont start the engine unless you can drive it 10 plus miles!
4. Hook up a trickle charger to the battery

the first thing you need to do is change the oil and filter.
then 1/4 tank of gas, fuel stabilizer and Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas (coats the injectors) then drive the car for 10 miles.
Jack the car up and put jack stands to load the suspension. then you can let all the air out of the tires.
genuine gm accessories 22969090 battery charger.
cover and leave it alone until spring time.

Either of the first 2. No need to remove tires/wheels or raise. The best is don't drive unless you can get 10 miles or more to fully warm up oil & burn off any moisture. Remember, what you see about storage is "ONLY OPINIONS".

The only thing I do differently is put about 45-50 psi in the tires. (Just remember to let the air out in the spring.) I've stored cars for years and never had a problem. I live in Northern Illinois and will putting mine away in about 3 weeks.

I didn't drive the vette for 2 months and half, I am wondering about the gas in the tank, should be ok to drive? gas go bad after 3 to 5 months right? and tire spot occurs after many months maybe 4 to 6 or so?

I have been storing my car for 5 to 6 months every Wi. winter, stabil in the full gas tank, pump the tires up, ctek battery maintainer, oil change, cover it up. No issues after bringing it back to life. Every year for 12 years
