E85 Help Please
I will do the lower pulley, cold air intake, maybe ported throttle body, headers and performance exhaust. Anything else you would recommend?
I did an E85 conversion on my 1967 Firebird and it really works great (12.5:1 compression, plenty of power, no knocks, runs cool, etc, etc). I would like to get the E85 benefits on my 2017 Z06 as well. Reading through the different threads, there is a lot of info out there and I’m hoping you guys can help get me headed in the right direction.
It seems you can’t run straight E85 with the stock fuel system. If anyone has had success with straight E85, please chime in.If it isn’t possible to run straight E85, then what is the max concentration of E85 and 93 that the stock fuel system can handle (without meth)?
Do I really need a flex fuel O2 sensor or can the stock one handle a fuel blend?
Any vendors out there specializing in this line of work, please let me know your thoughts as well.
