Who's selling there Z06 for the ZR1?

Sticking with my '15 Z06. They don't make Crystal Red anymore and I can't get 650 hp to hook up on the street so why go for more? If I ever want more hp, it's a lot cheaper to bump up the z06 rather than throw down all that dough for just about the same car. I'm standing pat. Besides, I'm not a fan of the front bumper on the ZR1 and the rest of the car, with the exception of the awesome shaker hood, is basically the same.
This is my 6th Vette, including a C6 ZR1 and I must say it is my all time favorite so far. Happy, content and standing pat.

doesn't go broke and succeeds in making the Roadster. Other than that I'll keep and improve what I have.

Ain't that the truth. We Corvette and car guys see these beautiful, sleek, high horsepower models being released and have visions in our head of driving the car through twisty mountains and long, flat open roads testing the limits of the cars. In reality, I'm driving in 35 MPH rush hour traffic, road construction dips that will damage low profile splitters, and parking in over-crowded malls hoping for the occasional open road where I can get it over 70 MPH for more than 30 seconds.

Our 2016 Z06/Z07 is our 1st Corvette. Great car and really enjoy the design and performance. Being a Corvette outsider, to me, there seems to be a much larger distinction between the C6 Z06 and C6 ZR1 vs the C7 models of the same designation. Maybe its because of the Z07 package on our car, the C7 ZR1 is pretty much the same car with a new front end and wing, throw a new supercharger on for 100hp. Maybe GM put too much out there for the C7 Z06, the luster is not there as it was for the C6 variant for me. With that being said, if we did not own the car we do now, a ZR1 would definitely be on order.

Honestly, I have no better idea what they'll be worth than anyone else...
I couldn't tell if the whole "wait and get one for 50K" was an aspirational statement or more the usual refrain about people that pay MSRP to get one early being suckers.

Unless someone really REALLY believes the ZR1 won't overheat and they absolutely, positively want to track a SC C7, there is no rational reason for doing so.

Frankly, if you can get the car to hit limp mode for coolant temp it should immediately print a coupon for 20% off a ZR1.

Need to see more of the car.. right now, IMO it’s not a must have for me. .
Now that, save the planet, 1.9 sec 0-60, 600 mile range and go 250+ MPH while riding in the carpool lane Tesla is really, really interesting.

I had a hard time justifying the need for 200 more horsepower! When I found the 2017 ZO7 deal, I could not resist. My 488 GTB is being built this month and I do not need another new car.

Outside of a dedicated road track car, theres no way its worth an extra $40-60K! 10 laps without it overheating is still not sufficient. I mod all my vehicles so those who clamour for warranties may be drawn to this, the **** will serve as a better coffee table at the local lots.
Basic bolt ons with the Z are far more appealing, bang for buck.
