Fleming, you going down to Sebring in Feb or March with Chin?

Nah, although I do really want to go down to Sebring soon. My first event of 2018 will be NOLA with Optima in April.

I've some issues with damages during shipping here recently. It seems like heavy packages are assumed to be sturdier and handled roughly. As Lou said we'll also make sure things are tidied up on our end and don't hesitate to give us a call.

Thank you!

Now just waiting on the monoballs to arrive.
Your control arms arrived yesterday! We're gearing up for this Florida event but I'll get them worked in first part of this week and headed back your way.

Installed the front spindles today, planed on the rears also but ran into problems with one of the front spindles. the unit bearing hub did not want to go in, had to take a disk to the edge to get ride of the ridge/burr that was on it. ( I spent a half hour repairing all the damage to all the spindles with a disk cutting out the deep cuts and stress risers that they were shipped with). had to clean up the surface and took a flap wheel to the mating surface to get it to fit all the way in.
None of the torx screws would go in more than half way in...stripped the heads out of them all on the first spindle, had to tap them to get them to feed in..didn't look the same as the other side as they feed in fine. none had threads had to cut new ones for the brake ducts and sensor.
What a joke this has turned into...I'll do the rears tomorrow hope they are machined better. there was a difference between the two fronts.

That's bullshit. For what they cost i would have been on the phone getting another one overnighted to me.

Don't start drinking beer tomorrow until after you do the parking brake cables.

Well I finished up the install glad it's over. LOL
The rear was mostly uneventful...ClydeFrog you got me worried about the parking brake cables, I looked on line how to take them apart but could not find anything, but I did find how to relax the cable to take them off. I bent the brass tab back to use needle nose to pull and unhook the cable, it was not a issue at all. the screws for the ducting was still a problem for the rears, need to cut new threads and chase them to keep from stripping the heads out.
But it's done.... took it for a test ride and it felt the same, acceleration and braking felt normal....drove like it did before.
I guess it was a success. lol Here is some pics I did not measure the before height but I like the look much better now, the way it should be.

Clyde, with all due respect, you have been a member for all of 4 months and you seem to be a little angry?

I agree that the shipping of these should have had more care taken but this is a suspension part that will be beat up, sand blasted from road debris and other road hazards in no time. BUT that is no excuse for poor packaging I will admit.

Knowing that LG Motorsports has been around this forum from the early days, we could not have prospered if we didn't stand behind our products and service.

Having said that, the Drop spindles will serve you all well as they have for over a decade and a half.

We always try to do the right thing and we have tried to live up to that promise through out the years

NOW to end this post, I want to say I saw a parking sign yesterday.

For the record.... Front and rear suspension adjustment bolts screwed all the way in...the rears I cut half the pad off , left the second metal disk, if it becomes a problem I put new factory bolts back in with out cutting it.

So even with the drop spindles you still had to cut the rear pad?

So you can lower the car two inches with dropped spindles and using the stock turn bolts? Any problems getting in your driveway and over speed bumps? Lowering the center of gravity in any car two inches is huge for handling.

Lou-
I asked you this question in another thread but you really didn't really answer my question. Do you sell coil over kits for the existing magnetic control shocks? I come from oval short track racing & we couldn't run adjustable shocks so to change shocks all we had to do is take the coil over unit off car and slide spring off, coil over spring kit, & slide on the new shock. If not is this possible to machine a kit up for the magnetic ride shocks using same concept? I also want to share something we are doing on the oval track also with brake cooling. On some tracks we do not have to duct our brakes for cooling, we run wheel fans. Maybe you can start selling those as well. They would help not only the brakes but they suck the dirty air underneath the hood out. Just some thoughts bro...
