If you don’t mind me asking, in what kind of condition did they arrive to you. Could you handle them with out gloves on, did they have burrs and gouges on them . Mine look like they had a rough time, lol. I’m going to take a disk to them and smooth out the rough areas just wondering if that’s how they are.
Thanks Dean

A couple of mine were so beat to **** when I got them that I had to take a rotary file & wheel to them. They were half-*** packed & it looked like the steel studs had caused the damage during shipping. Or it looks like they’re stocked by throwing them on top of one another in a giant bin at LG. I was almost going to send them back but didn’t feel like dealing with that hassle. I really didn’t care about the cosmetics but more about a stress fracture start point.
I bought mine from LMP performance, I was thinking they sent me blems but I guess not if others have damaged spindles also. mine was listed as new. If your the only one making it I guess you can have a take it or leave it product.
It makes me worry about the machining process now, if all of that is correct.
LGM in Texas was the OEM on mine and my personal experience was excellent. They were pricey but did exactly as advertised...hope that helps. My only negative comment would be is the rear wheel well didn't lower more...

Don't sound like LG to me on parts I have gotten a ton of parts from them on the c5 & c7 never was in bad cond on the parts. Yes I got the drag set up for the c5 looked like new.
Man give them a call & shot some pic's to them I am sure it was in the shipping of them. Those guys are 110% will make you happy on anything they sale.. If on the car now still should let them know on this stuff.... Robert

I posted pics maybe I’m just being picky.
I don't think you are being picky. Agreed, probably won't hurt the functionality but after paying decent money for new parts, that isn't what you want to see.
That's what mine looked like times two. I PM'd LG letting them know mine were beat to hell & suggesting they at least slide some tygon tubing over the studs before shipping. Never heard back. Whatever. They already had my money.
I had the drop spindles installed last September. They did not show any damage in shipping. However I did have a minor problem with them. My 16 Z7 Z06 with z07 package had a rubbing interference issue. The LG spindle as installed had interference with the left rear axel hub. The LG spindle needed to be grown down a bit around the bearing housing to allow for clearance of the axel hub. I informed Larry and they refunded to me the cost of the modification. The LG spindle is thicker than the stock part and clearances are very tight around the center of the spindle where the axel inserts. The stock spindle is forged and hollow looking. The drop spindle uses T6 aluminum and is thick. I don't think it is forged or needs to be forged from the design of it. It is a quality part. It does lower the car as specified. No problems since installation.

Hi
My shippers think they can ship with just a few pieces of paper between parts. I sincerely apologize.
I must say that I have not seen our spindles this blown up I am getting old so I might not see these things without glasses.
Ritroman, We took your information from the larger Z06 half shafts and now we radius all spindles, even the Stingray just in case they upgrade to the Z06 half shafts.
Sorry for the issues. My people are just learning after 28 years in business LOL
I am sure the spindles will serve you well. If not, call me personally.
It also looks like I need to get my machine shop to tidy up their machine work a bit.
Mine was packed very well I thought, each spindle was bubble wrapped and thick packing paper in between each one. Someone chose to put them in the box in that condition.
