I don't normally travel on highways, but I was on one the other day, and everyone was in my way. I passed a slow poke and got to about 95 MPH (quickly, as you know) and the steering seemed to lose it's "feel" , it became light, as if the front end were floating. The steering is set to "sport" but I had suspension set to "touring". Would setting the suspension to "sport' or "track" have made a difference, and if not, do I need an alignment?

Wouldn't hurt to check the alignment. A lot of these cars are delivered with the alignment off.

In my c7z it definitely makes a big difference in the ride changing the suspension settings. Almost boat like in touring mode, which is why I drive in sport mode on the street.

My steering stays in track and my suspension in touring. Never had this feeling.
