My 2017 Z06 2lz a8 climate system seems to operate strangely. With the a/c off and the top vents operating in auto mode, I set temp to 70. Outside temperature is 55 and the car has been parked overnight. Air from vents cold, as if a/c is on. I realize that the coolant has to heat up to get warm air, but even after driving several miles and coolant temps well above 100, the air is still cold. At some point the air becomes uncomfortably hot.
The a/c is fantastic and keeps the car comfortable in 90 degree temps. Seems to only be an issue with heating, not cooling.
I remember my C6 acted the same way. Have others experienced the same with their C7? Do not want to waste time at the dealer if this is the best the system can do, as I can live with this in SoCal weather.
Is the air from ALL the vents cold? Normal "bilevel" or "bimode" operation going back to the 1960s gives you cool air on the face while it warms the cabin though the other vents.

I have to check the bilevel mode. Normally just run the top vents.
