Default Pics of rotors after miles of use of Powerstop ceramic???

Hey guys!
Thinking of switching over to powerstop ceramic on my GS. Can y’all show me some pics of your rotors after several mile sale of use? I’m a little nervous about this browning of the rotors. Also have y’all noticed any reduction in the ability to use hill start assist (pad holding)???

I've never heard of Hill start assist can you explain how to engage this function on your car?? I'm not trying to be a wise guy Steven I just didn't see this option in the owners manual.

Thnnks Bill

I don’t know that you can diengage/engage it. Apparently this is something they’ve added on the C7 manual cars. I know this car does not roll back on me and have had a GMC sierra Denali with hill start assist so I assume that’s the same technology GM has put in the Corvette.

Does the slight brown tinge come off when you wash it? It’s hard to tell with the flash how dark

Biggest myth out ! Powerstop pads stop great, stop the dust and the rotors are unharmed by the pads.

You won't have any issues with the Powerstop brakes. I use their rotors and pads. Z26 off race season and track day pads during race season. The Z26 basically have no dust and the track pads dust like crazy, but aren't corrosive at all. Easy to wash away without any bad after affects. And all of their parts are very reasonably priced, especially the rotors, which are drilled and slotted where the factory are only slotted.

Most important though, replace brake fluid with high temp before any track duty. The Powerstops can take everything you can throw at them. I've been using them for 3 years.

i have an m7 c7z. I just noticed hill assist function when I was driving the car yesterday. Very nice feature.

op. Don’t worry about your rotors with Powerstop. The powerstop don’t discolor the rotors.

My fronts do get a brownish/copper look on the rotor face and in the slots. When I pull the wheels for detailing, they clean right up with some brake cleaner and a rag.
