4-Wheel Alignment -
Results – The rear tires now follow the front tires and don’t try to push the rear around when going over the road ruts or riding in the road ruts. Also the car goes much straighter now and not to one side when spinning in a straight line. After 2 years of driving the car with inferior alignment, this was well worth the hassle and $ to me.

Thanks! what does a TPC Racing DSC Sport Controller and V3 software do?
Is it needed to make the DSC alignment work correctly or does it just help smooth out the ride?
and Thanks !!!
Not required. It may improve handling over the stock alignment but most cars come out of the factory with the alignment set very close to the DSC recommendations. The only question is rear caster and what it is set to out of the factory. The GM FSM says to set it at 0.00 with a tolerance of plus or minus 0.8 degrees on each side. They don't define a cross caster. However, the other settings are set to the positive side of their tolerances but not at the limit so they might do the same with rear caster. My car was delivered with camber running between -1.0 and -1.2 at all 4 wheels and front caster at about +7.4 degrees. No local shops had tools to measure rear caster when I took delivery so I don't know what it was.
If nobody has worked on your car's alignment it may already be close to the DSC recommendations. Alignment settings aren't easy to fine tune so in most cases close is close enough. If you take your car to a dealer shop you need to emphasize you want rear caster set and you need to verify they have both tools required to make the measurement. Talking about rear caster at any other shop including race shops more than likely will get you a blank stare.

Thanks Bill, My Z06 is a 2016 and hasn't had the alignment checked. A friend who also has a 2016 just had his checked and his caster was positive on one side and negative on the other . so I'm going to get mine checked and have it set to the DSC specs
Got the alignment a month after buying the car.. haven't had any weird tire wear after 10K miles.. tires wore even.. as for handling don't really know since the car had less than 500 miles when I got the alignment so I wasn't going nuts on it before the alignment.
This is my alignment to DSC street/track, it feels "loose" on back roads. The stock alignment felt planted and confidence inspiring, this just feels darty and ready to break loose in the rear, less grip out of corners. Will be on track on Thursday to test it out.

DSC Controller -
Results – Much softer/smoother ride but car stays very flat when pushed, overall more compliant and well worth the $ to me.
Car is more planted better traction I really like mine!
Mine is on my 2015 that did not feel as good as my 2017. I would say the 2017 ride is improved over the early 2015.
But with DSC controller the 2015 now drives amazing.
Love the car now with the new found 673 rwhp and the better handling!

Your feelings sound more like a rear caster problem it sure does not appear to be your new numbers. They should be very good for the track that's about where we started 3 years ago and now use even more camber.

Was on track tonight at Thunderhill, the car felt great. Really liked how the new alignment performed. Felt similar to my spring mountain Z06 but faster and with better brakes. I was running ferodo ds1.11 pads and with real 93 octane gas.
Is this tire wear normal with DSC track alignment?
Hi,
I have a Corvette C7 Z06 that I track about 1-2 times a month. The "stock" alignment was horribly off when I bought the car, managed to cord the front tires pretty quickly. I did the DSC Sport "Track/occasional street" alignment with the washers removed (see attached numbers- "actual" is what they are now).
I bought a set of Sport Cup 2 ZP tires to see what the car could do with those just prior to this alignment. They felt great, nice and sticky throughout a weekend, but the wear seems uneven to me. Attached is a photo of the right rear tire new, and a photo of the right rear tire after ~ 500 miles (street driving and two track days (six 25 minute sessions)). I also included a picture of the LEFT rear tire off the car - see how good the inside edge looks?
Any thoughts on whether there should be some alignment change? I also wore through a rear brake pad shockingly quickly on one side this weekend, so I'm wondering if something is off.
This is the tire as it looked new, about 20 miles after putting it on. This is the tire after I drove to the track and back twice and two track days, ~ 500 miles. Tire off the car in between track days.
