Default Michelin ?

so does any one know what the difference is between these two besides the cost?
PILOT® SUPER SPORT
285/30 ZR19 94 Y

PILOT® SUPER SPORT
285/30 ZR19 98 Y

Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus

and then can you use this for the rear on both

PILOT® SUPER SPORT
P335/25ZR20 (99Y)

Thanks for the reply

It represents the tire load index. You add the numbers to get the load index numbers for the vehicle. 1653 x 2 = front, 1709 x 2 = rear. That is the "safe" load the vehicle can carry. Weight of the vehicle plus occupants and any additional weight of carry on items.

94 1477
98 1653
99 1709

If you are not tracking the vehicle, the delta represented from the 94 to 98 will very likely be indiscernible to you; however, the engineers that perform load calculations and testing decide on a number. I don't have the stock numbers in front of me, but you may want to reference that. I would always recommend using the manufacture recommendation as a baseline and not deviate from that unless you have no other options due to circumstance - flat in the middle of a road trip, etc.

Stock Z06 tire load rating is 94 for front and 99 for rear.
